One more tweener... Win Win!

From the man who directed The Station Agent and The Visitor comes another great movie full of everything you love about movies. Great characters, great story, great acting, laughs, drama, heart, Bobby Cannavale, and a setting in New Jersey. (Even if it was shot in New York). The ending is a little too tidy and neat, but it doesn't matter. One of the best movies out there right now, and well worth checking out.

Strangely, Win Win left me flat. I guess I wasn't expecting so much formula from McCarthy, whom I came to expect no formula from. On the upside, it gave me the idea that Cannavale should be in every movie. How about a Timecop reboot starring Cannavale as the JCVD character, only this time he's neurotic CGI twins...

By the way, why isn't Your Highness funny? Really, help me out with this one, because I was confounded by my lack of laughter.

It's definitely not as good as his other two flicks, and it is very formulaic. But this could easily have been Nancy Myers bland, and instead I found it worked in spite of its' conventionality.

Plus, any movie that has Bobby Cannavale declaring that a teen kid sucks at Wii golf is terrific.

AS for Your Highness, I haven't seen it yet. Reviews from those I trust have told me to wait for cable, or at least the $2 theater. Dan liked it, though, so that should tell you something.

(Although he HATED Sucker Punch, so who knows? I still need to see that one)
